MUSEUMS & GALLERIES MONTH
This year we are participating much more actively in this annual British celebration of museums and what they have to offer. We have a full programme of gallery talks, demonstrations and living history performances.

As part of Museums’ Month, Guernsey Museum & Art Gallery will open on Saturday evening with short talks, music and refreshments.

THE BIRTHDAY OF HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN
FREE ENTRY TO GUERNSEY MUSEUMS
To mark the official birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, Castle Cornet, Fort Grey and Guernsey Museum will be opening their doors without charge on this day.

MEDIEVAL MIDSUMMER
The gates of Castle Cornet will be thrown open for this Midsummer event. Come along for what promises to be a fun day and evening with a Medieval theme. Entry fees will be reduced for anyone in medieval costume.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES EXHIBITION - Childrens' Party
To launch the Childhood Memories Exhibition there will be an old-fashioned childrens’ party on Saturday 28 June; the Exhibition will then run until 12 October. Toys, games and reminiscences of all our childhoods at Guernsey Museum & Art Gallery!

LIVING HISTORY - BURNT AT THE STAKE
The story of three Guernsey women accused of heresy in 1556 recorded in Foxes Book of Martyrs. You are invited to join the townspeople of St Peter Port as they follow the unfortunate women being led to their fate.

ROCQUAINE REGATTA
The Rocquaine Regatta has a long and distinguished reputation for fun. A full day (and evening) of free entertainment and activities for both the young and young at heart, including beach and stage events, sandcastles, inshore swimming and sailing, as well as raft races, 5-a-side football and volleyball and even a mini-macho contest. Held on Guernsey’s beautiful southwest coast, there is also free entry to Fort Grey, Maritime Museum.
